1)
Morphology
Disorders of sperms (98% abnormality)-Morphology,
disorders are mostly limited to head defects 58% & mid-piece and neck
defects of 32%. Such advanced procedures

Motility by conventional test:--with total progressive motility of 27% out of and
absolutely nonmotile.
ARIC test: -
Acrosome Reaction after Ionosphere Challenge,-Spermiation Defects-in this
case=808%. Normally more than 15% of sperms with halos have diameter of 10 mille
---mm (µm).

Special Tests No.1:-What is the relevance of HOS (Hypsometric
swelling test? - It relates to flagellar
integrity: In this case there was > 55% sperms had tail coiling .Therefore
motility disorders.

Special Tests No.2:- What is the relevance of Spermiation Defects? This is Acrosome
Reaction after ionosphere Challenge:-This test evaluates the functional status
of sperm. Acrosome and Acrosome is a god
indicator of sperms ability to penetrate the oocyte.

Other special Tests are: done only at
advanced ART center (Andrology Deptt.) Such tests are DNA
fragmentation, (DFI), ROS estimation, Annexin V binding, Acrosin Proteolytic
Activity, Neutral a glucoside activity. Such tests are of limited value in day
ART practice.
