What is Cystic Fibrosis disease? It is a common autosomal recessive
disorder more common in Northern part of Europe. CFTR is important for maintenance of
viscosity and fluidity of epithelial secretions. If there are mutations of CFTR
gene than CBAVD-or sinusitis. Vas is often absent. So also there can be
associated absence of seminal vesicles, or ejaculatory ducts.
There can be
bilateral or unilateral absence of vas deferens. Men suffering from CF-will
have some anatomical problems of Wolffian duct and typically produce low volume
ejaculated semen. So, if your semen volume is always > 0.5 ml then think of
