How to achieve Success ??

IUI : Tip No 1;-: There are enough space in  your existing clinic:--If it is in the same premises then U have to have 3 more rooms attached to your clinic a) Semen collection room b) A small lab with centrifuge machine , small incubator, if possible Laminar air flow facilities ( not a must) ,Microscope ,Makler sperm courting chamber-not a must but desirable to invest with Bank loan to maximize the success per cycle,  c)  .

A minor OT with sterizing drum, IUI canula .god light, lithotomy position & common instruments. However ,   if space permits then a small sofa can be placed where she can rest 30 mts after the procedures of insemination. License is not difficult to have it on line application.

Tip No 2:-Tips for planning for IUI at your own clinic premises? It is very much desirable to have a USG clinic as well in your clinic as well as IUI rooms at same premises.  This will save time. Both USG & IUI rooms should ideally  be your own.  If one plans for IUI the main problem is not the license but more space. 

The IUI procedure can be done at minor OT if U are an owner of NH or else can go to some other nearby NH when informed by staff that theatre is ready & your own staff has arrived with prepared sperm from another Lab.

Tip No  3:- for sperm preparation room: 1) Restrict entry of any other person except technician 2) Lady worker is very much desirable—personal choice -- from my 40 yrs experience -they seldom become absent  more so if her children  has grown up  3) B.SC pass married woman > 40 yrs desirable and if offered good salary won't leave your Lab for any other job at this age . 4) Skill on computer & record keeping knowledge will be added qualification –may keep record of all infertile couple not only IUI cases.
